Neutral Everyday Makeup Look | IndiaJasmine

Hi everyone, I'm back after a long break. I think it was much needed, but now I'm back and hopefully my blog and instagram (@indiajasmineblog) will be back to normal soon! Shameless self-promo...

Today I'm going to be sharing my go to look from the past month that's super quick and easy with nothing to heavy. It's perfect for school and for those Spring Days where you can't be bothered with much makeup!

I started by priming my skin with the Nivea Mens Aftershave Balm, which is a great base for helping your makeup last a lot longer. Also, I wrote a post about this with I will link here so you can go read up on the product if you like!

Then, I am using my Zoeva Silk Finish brush to buff the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation into my skin. This foundation gives a medium coverage and doesn't become oily throughout the day on my skin.

Here I am making sure to blend the foundation down onto my neck and up to my hairline because you don't want to have any harsh lines anywhere.

In order to further perfect my skin, I took the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15. This is a very high coverage concealer so it's great to cover any imperfections till coming through the foundation.

I am also using this concealer underneath my eyes to pretend that I definitely got enough sleep and to highlight as well. Using the shade NC15, which is a few shades lighter than my skin tone, means that I can achieve this easily.

However, this concealer does crease pretty easily so make sure to set it quickly with a loose powder. I am sing the Gosh Prime 'N' Set on a small fluffy brush because I find it most effective when prolonging the wear of my under eye concealer.

Then I'm using a large brush with the Maybelline Matte Maker Powder to set the rest of my base makeup.

Moving onto contour...
I'm using the Zoeva Face Shape brush as it fits under the hollows of my cheekbones easily and taking the Benefit Hoola Bronzer.
I don't find this bronzer to be to orange toned and therefore I think that you can easily get away with using it for contour too.

I'm also contouring my jawline so that I can slice some watermelon, which is the main goal.

Then I'm going back in with my foundation brush and blending it out so that there are no harsh lines!

For blush I have still been using the Makeup Revolution Sugar and Spice Palette, but I've been taking the bottom third shade. This is a much brighter and peachier shade, so perfect for the spring months!

I'm then taking the highlight from that palette on the tops of my cheekbones, tip of my nose and cupids bow.

Taking the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush I am just blending it out slightly so that there are no harsh lines.

Moving onto eyeshadow, I have been keeping it very simple so that the main focus it the eyeliner. Therefore, I begin with a matte white eyeshadow and take this all over the lid up to the brow.

Then I am slightly defining my crease and adding a little colour to it in order to give my eye some more shape.
For this I am using the Zoeva Soft Definer and a matte light brown and sweeping it through the crease, making sure it's fully blended.

As you can see, it just gives my eyes some shape and definition.

Now I am using a black eyeliner, which is from H&M. I think this has been discontinued which is very annoying as mine is very running out badly and this was my favourite eyeliner to use.
I am drawing a line close to my lash line, going from thin nearer the inner corner and getting thick as it goes along.

For my mascara I am obviously using my trusting Benefit Roller Lash! Sadly, mines drying out pretty bad so if you have any good drugstore mascaras to recommend please comment them below.

To make my eyes a little smokier I am smudging some of the same crease eyeshadow underneath my eyes.

To go along with this, I am using the Mac Coffee Eyeliner so that there is not a line of bare skin.

In order to highlight my inner corner I am using the Mac Eyeshadow in Nylon. This is very reflective and therefore brightens and highlights beautifully!

Also, I took this on my brow bone to lift the arch of my brows!

In order to fill in m brows I always use the Zoeva Wing Liner Brush and the Benefit BrowZings palette! I fill in any sparse patches and just overall define the shape better.

To set my brows I use the Maybelline Brow Dram ain Transparent, which helps them to stay in place all day!

For lips I have been going to two looks religiously! However for this post I have chosen this one as it doesn't include lining your lips.
The lipstick I am using above is Mac Fleshpot.

You could always leave the colour like this but I have been liking going over it with another Mac lipstick in the shade Verve to make it slightly darker!

And this is the finished look! Let me know what you think below and whether you're excited for me to start blogging again :)

...and here's me being a weirdo and messing around with the camera.
