The Vamps World Tour - London 02 | SimplyMe

I wasn't so sure what to write about today. I've done beauty for the last couple of weeks, so that was definitely out of the question.
Eventually, I decided to write about an incredible experience that I went to the other night.

So basically on Saturday I went down to London, by train to watch a concert. And it was The Vamps! They are my absolute favourite band ever, so as you can probably tell, I was extremely excited.

Also, as it was a concert, I'm sure that you can appreciate the quality of these photos that I took. Obviously, it is very difficult to take photos at a concert, therefore a few I took of the big screen next to the stage.
However, I wanted to take a few to show you!

*Beginning*
 *Brad Singing and playing guitar*

 *End*
 *Tristan's Drum Solo*
 *James and Brad on guitar*

If you ever get the chance to attend one of their concerts or tour then don't hesitate and go!
It was a great experience and I've loved sharing it with everyone!

Sorry that this post is short but I've got to rush off to a meeting. To make up for it I'm going to put up a post Friday as well!

Lastly, please let me know if I should change my blog, instagram, twitter, etc. Name to IndiaJasmine instead of SimplyMe. Thanks!

5 Spring Makeup/ Fashion Essentials | SimplyMe

As its own officially spring, going on summer, I figured that I should share with you a few of my essentials makeup products and clothing items for spring!

Firstly, is this concealer. Its from Rimmel and it's called Wake Me Up. This concealer isn't the highest ever coverage but I find that its beautiful for a fresh and bright look under the eyes.
I have this in 100 Ivory and it also has light reflecting particles that brighten even more!
This is perfect for a fresh and dewy spring look.

Secondly, is actually a piece of clothing. This is from Primark so it was only about
£7.00! It seems to be quite a good quality too.
Anyway, it's a long, sleeve-less top with tassels that end just before the knee. The colours are black and white but seem to be in a tie-dye sort of style. Tassels are meant to be a huge thing this summer so again this is a great essential for spring!

My next spring essential, back onto beauty, is my new NYC bronzer in Sunny. I only ordered this about five days ago but I have been using it everyday and I am loving it!
Its so pigmented so you only need the smallest amount, therefore it will last you so so long, but it adds a lovely warmth and glow to the sides of your face.
It makes you look a little more like you have caught the sun too with the warmth that it gives.

Next, it my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I use the shade 001 transparent and I think that a compact powder is an absolute essential for my oily skin type as it gets super oily in spring.
This is perfect to carry around in my school bag or satchel as it is a good size.

It keeps me matte for 4 hours at the most but it can sometimes look very powdery and cakey over my foundation so if you have any recommendations then please leave them below!

Lastly is the Baby Lips in Pink Punch. I know that these have already been raved about and they have been around for a long time but I personally think that this shade in particular is great for those spring or summer days where you just want something that's going to really moisturise your lips but add an easy and pretty wash of colour.
Its also a great size to throw in your bag or pocket or top ups through-out the day.

Thanks for reading and please leave your recommendations below!
Also, check out my instagram @simplymebloggin as I'm posting over on there daily :)

Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Kit Review | SimplyMe

I used to use a very old eyeshadow palette from an un-known brand to do my brows. As I said, it wasn't branded and it didn't have a colour name or anything. Therefore, I could repurchase it if I got used to it and liked it.
What's the point of using it then really? I didn't like it too badly anyway.

So, I went out and looked around Boots with two of my friends while we were in town.

I saw the Rimmel Brow This Way products while scanning through the stall and I remembered all the good reviews they had.
However, I had seen reviews on the gel and pencil, but not on the kit. So, I decided to try it out!

I have the colour 003 dark brown, which was the darkest shade there, although I'm not sure whether this is the darkest in the collection.

The product comes with a wax on the left and a powder eyeshadow on the right, which is lighter than the wax.

Both are quite pigmented and I will leave a swatch photo below.

Also, I use both these products on my angled smoky eye brush from H&M. Its only a few pounds and totally worth it as it's a great overall quality!

I run the wax through my brows first to create the shape and begin to lock them in place. Its great for this and it lasts pretty much all day! However, I do use a setting gel at the end.

Next, I dust the powder precisely over top of the wax to create a more textured look and to set the wax into place. I also use this at the front of my brow to create a very slight ombred effect.

As I said before, these brow products stay in place for most of the day, however they turn out slightly faded by the end of the afternoon.
Therefore, I do still set my eyebrows with the Maybelline Brow Drama Gel in Clear. This just makes sure they are locked in place.

Overall, I would recommend the Rimmel Brow This Way kit as its quite longwearing and comes in a few colours. They are also very pigmented and easy to use.
Please leave your eyebrow recommendations below and I hope that you enjoyed this review!
