Amazing Eyebrow Kit Dupe | IndiaJasmine

There are so many brilliant dupes out there but they can be hard to find...
People are talking about drugstore dupes for expensive, luxury products. But when you don't know what they are its difficult to pin point them and achieve finding what your looking for.

Therefore, today I'm going to be sharing with you an incredible product that I have been using for ages, but never realised it was actually a dupe for a high-end product!

These products are the Rimmel Brow This Way Palette brow kit and the Benefit Brow Zings brow kit.
Below I with be sharing the ways in which these products are similar and which one I would go for overall!

Packaging

I thought that I might as well begin with the only thing that isn't similar with these products, which is the packaging.

As you can see from the photos above, the packaging for the Rimmel product from the drugstore is made in clear plastic packaging. This does make it feel and look quite cheap but it works as a lid as it's meant to and keeps the product inside. In contrast, the lid does therefore get scratched very easily, which makes it look quite dirty and messy.

However, the Benefit Brow Shaping Kit is boxed in smooth, black plastic, which is very strong and will not snap or break. This leaves it looking very sleek and professional, even though the plastic still does scratch every now and then. But because of the black packaging it isn't too noticeable.

Inside

As you can see above, the insides are very similar looking. Both products have a lighter powder on the left and then a darker wax/ cream product on the left. I tend to use the darker wax as it suits the colour of my eyebrows better and also I find that the product sits nicer and stays in place better.

Also, both come with a handy tool inside! The Rimmel Brow Kit comes with a small spoolie to brush through your brows. Then the Benefit one comes with a mini angled brush that's great for filling in your brows whilst your travelling when you need quick access to a brush.

The high-end, Benefit product also comes with a large mirror, which is again great for when travelling or on the go. However, the Rimmel one doesn't have one.

Also, as you can see, the squares of product in the Benefit kit are larger and you therefore get more product.

Pigmentation

As you can see from the photos above, the second set of swatches is actually more pigmented! Especially the powders. However, is could be a pain for some people because it means that you could be thinking that your picking up a small amount of product, but it's actually incredibly dark!
Whereas the Benefit one is less pigmented but means that you can build up the shade instead of going in with a dramatic colour. However, this does mean that you will end up using more product.

Overall, I would probably say that the Benefit product is my favourite but not worth the £25 it is sold for. I feel like a more reasonable price would be £15. However, it is sometimes nice to spend a little more on a luxury item so that it feels more special.

What dupes do you recommend?
