Firstly, I want to apologise to you all for not posting last Tuesday. I tried many times to upload my blog, which was a 13 minute vlog type video, but my internet stopped working and there was nothing I could do to upload!

 

Anyway, as I didn't post last Tuesday, I'm going to try and make up for it by posting today as well as tomorrow! Tomorrows post is also going to be a collab with another blogger :)

Moving onto todays blog, I don't do fashion posts at that often at all and when I begin to write more and more I'd like to write about more things that I love. A major part of this is fashion, therefore, that's what I'm going to do today!

 

As you can tell by the title, this post is my current boohoo.com wish list. It consists of four things but I've found many more now!

These aren't specifically summer themed but two of them I will definitely be wearing in summer!

The first thing you see is these ripped black jeans! These are called the Evie Low Rise Extreme Shredded Skinny Jeans. I personally think that black ripped jeans look so edgy but can be casual or dressed up with accessories.
I would prefer if they were high waisted but I really liked the style of the ripped going up the leg in this!
You can also pair them with almost any top, from crop tops to baggy t shirts, tucked in or out.
Therefore, they are super easy to style and currently they're only £20!

Next is the Sarah black acid wash shirt. This is actually oversized but unfortunately it only comes in small-medium and medium-large!
This means that I probably won't buy it but I have been looking for others that are similar. However, I haven't found any so if you have any suggestions please leave them below!
I think that this would look edgy but super casual unbuttoned over a plain white crop top or a white shirt with the black skinny jeans or dark blue ones!
This is also £20 from boohoo of course.

On the left hand side of the bottom row is a cute little kimono called the Phillippa Tile Print Kimono . I have a feeling that these are going to be majorly popular this summer and they already are for spring!
This one is black, green and brown, and I think that the colours go so nicely together and compliment each other.
It's so easy to pair with this and it think that it would look super nice with a black crop top with the shorts that I'm going to talk about next. Also, its £15!
Unfortunately, this is currently unavailable but should be back soon I hope!

Lastly are these frayed and distressed white shorts called the Hailey Frayed Hem Distressed Denim Hot pants.
As I said before, I think that these would go brilliantly with the kimono above!
They are again going to give that edgy look to a simple outfit as they are ripped and frayed. Plus, this can be very casual or dressed up a little.
Keeping it casual, you could pair it with some flip flops or white converse/vans and a black crop top.
Then to dress it up you could replace the shoes with a pair of heels and a statement necklace!

Instagram Q&A | IndiaJasmine

 

I asked for questions on Instagram for this q & a! I got quite a lot of questions so lets get straight into it.

Also, my instagram name has changed from simplymebloggin to indiajasmineblog, just to let you know.

 

 

 Favourite makeup product?

 

This is a very difficult one! Hmmm... After I while of thinking, I feel like my favourite makeup product ever would have to be MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation because I love the formula, its not to heavy but it still gives a great coverage and stays on my skin for a good amount of time!

 

 Shorts or skirts?

 

Shorts, as I don't really wear skirts very often.

 

 Perfume or makeup?

 

I would have to go with makeup :)

 

 Favourite of The Vamps?

 

Bradley Simpson for sure! He takes the lead by miles.

 

 Winter or summer?

 

Have to go with winter because in summer I don't tan, I just burn. Also, I prefer the cold to the hot :)

 

 If you could only live with one makeup product what would it be?

 

Hmm... This is a hard one but I feel like if you didn't wear makeup then your skin would clean up and be reasonably clear, if not completely clear. Therefore, instead of a face product like concealer, I would go for mascara!

 

 Instagram or YouTube?

 

Again, this is quite a difficult one but I feel like YouTube is more enjoyable. However, I really do love them both so they are basically exactly the same to me!

 

 Favourite clothing brand?

 

I really like many clothing brands but I feel like my favourite would have to be...hmm... maybe h & m!

 

One country you'd like to visit?

 

Definitely New Zealand because...well...for the photogenic-ness

Face of the Day | India Jasmine

If you head over to my instagram @simplymebloggin you will see a lot of the beauty and makeup related products that I use pretty much on an everyday basis.

 

However, in this post I'm going to show you what things I put together for a regular school day and basically what makeup I wore yesterday!
Anyway, lets get straight into it.

Firstly, I like to use a little amount of Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
This provides a matte finish on my skin to begin with, helping my foundation to last a little longer, and also gets it ready for my foundation as it provides a smoother base.

Today I wore my usual Revlon Colorstay foundation in the shade 150 Buff. It's definitely my great go-to foundation as it lasts a while on my oily skin but it also provides a medium-full coverage.
I use a beauty blender to obviously blend this into my skin. I focus mainly on problem areas such as my forehead and between my eyebrows.

Next, I used a small amount of Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in Fair and I blend this into my skin, on top of blemishes still showing through, with my fingers.
Then I use Rimmel Wake Me Up under my eyes and blend with a fluffy brush.

To finish off my base makeup, I set everything with a small amount of Rimmel Stay Matte in 001 Transparent. I only like to use a small amount of this as it can make my makeup look powdery and cakey.

I then used my NYC bronzer in Sunny on the sides of my face and cheeks to obviously give the illusion of a more tanned face.

Using the Sleek Face Form palette in Light, I contoured my cheekbones, nose and cupids bow and then used to highlighter on my cheek bones and under my brows.

I finished up highlighting my nose and cupids bow with the lightest shade in an eyeshadow trio from MUA in the shade Pink Sorbet.

I decided to skip blush as I had a little more bronzer on my cheeks then usual.

For my eyes, I just used a matte white shade from my Revolution Iconic 3 Palette all over my eyelids as a base.

Then I took the shimmery pink, which is next to the white in the palette, and placed this in the inner corner, under my bottom lashes and across the first half of my eyelid.
This makes you look more awake and brightens up your eyes instantly.

I blended all this out with a fluffy brush and finished with my trusty 2True mascara in paparazzi! It provides amazing length and volume, while still lasting all day.

Next, I used the Rimmel Brow This Way Palette in 003 Dark Brown to fill in my eyebrows and give them a little more shape.

I then finished them off with a transparent brow gel to set them in place. I used Maybelline Brow Drama to do this!

To finish the whole look, I outlined my lips with the Rimmel Exaggerate Liner in East end Snob. Its a little dark for an everyday shade but I really like it so I decided to do it anyway!

Lastly, I applied some Baby Lips in Pink Punch and finished off with a Gosh Lipstick in the middle of my lips in the shade Angel.
